The Spiralling Belt Elevator moves bulk solids continuously through horizontal and vertical stretches with no points of transfer. Motor speed, material feed, and straight belt run are monitored by safety devices. The elevator is fed horizontally by a continuous conveyor. In the area of transfer, any fine material particles adhering to the belt drop into a scraper conveyor and are fed back as spillage to the main flow by a circuit conveyor.
